John Phillip Olsen, orignally from California, is an English teacher who has lived and worked in the east of France for over thirty years.  A graduate of Clarion West 98, his fiction has appeared in Asimov’s and Interzone. His story Birthday, critiqued at Villa Diodati 3, was selected by Ben Rosenbaum for Tumbarumba.
